CLOSURE OF BURSA MALAYSIA IN CONJUNCTION WITH HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI HOLIDAYS 2026

In conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2026, and subject to the official announcement by the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal, please be informed of the following trading procedures for Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia Derivatives”): 

1. If the 1st day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Friday, 20 March 2026 and the 2nd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Saturday, 21 March 2026.
a. Bursa Malaysia Derivatives will be closed on Friday, 20 March 2026, and will resume operations on Monday, 23 March 2026.
b. In accordance with the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives’ Procedures, there will be no T+1 night trading session on Thursday, 19 March 2026.

2. If the 1st day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Saturday, 21 March 2026 and the 2nd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Sunday, 22 March 2026.
a. Bursa Malaysia Derivatives will operate as usual during the T+1 Night Trading session on Thursday, 19 March 2026.
b. Bursa Malaysia Derivatives will remain open for trading on Friday, 20 March 2026, as normal.
c. Bursa Malaysia Derivatives will be closed on Monday, 23 March 2026, and will resume operations on Tuesday, 24 March 2026.
d. In accordance with the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives’ Procedures, there will be no T+1 night trading session on Monday, 23 March 2026
