CLOSURE OF BURSA MALAYSIA IN CONJUNCTION WITH HARI RAYA AIDILFITRI HOLIDAYS 2026

Further reference is made to the TP Circular 11 of 2026 dated 12 March 2026 and the Prime Minister of Malaysia’s declaration of an additional public holiday for Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2026.

Please be informed of the following trading procedures for Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Berhad (“Bursa Malaysia Derivatives”):

  1. If the 1st day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Friday, 20 March 2026 and the 2nd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Saturday, 21 March 2026, Monday 23 March will be observed as an additional Public Holiday.

  2. If the 1st day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Saturday, 21 March 2026 and the 2nd day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on Sunday, 22 March 2026, Friday 20 March will be observed as an additional Public Holiday.

For both scenarios:

  • Bursa Malaysia Derivatives will be closed on Friday, 20 March 2026, and on Monday, 23 March 2026.
  • In accordance with the Bursa Malaysia Derivatives’ Procedures, there will be no T+1 night trading session on Thursday, 19 March 2026 and on Monday, 23 March 2026.
  • Bursa Malaysia Derivatives will resume operations on Tuesday, 24 March 2026.
