He brings with him 10 years of sell side industry experience covering various industries including Energy, Petrochemical, Manufacturing and Automotive in Malaysia. Patrick Chong | Head of Economic Research, Phillip Research Sdn Bhd
Mr. Patrick is an economist with more than 10 years of experience across the banking, brokerage and regulatory sectors. He began his career in the banking industry before moving into the brokerage sector as a sell-side economist, where he focused on macroeconomic and financial market analysis. He subsequently joined the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC), gaining valuable experience from a regulatory and policy perspective, before returning to the brokerage industry as an economist. Patrick holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Malaya.
