(1) Crude Palm Oil Weekly

Malaysian palm oil futures traded in a tight range in the morning session on Monday, ahead of the Malaysia Palm Oil Board’s (MPOB) supply data and cargo surveyors’ export estimates, as traders awaited further cues.

(2) Metals Weekly

Gold prices dropped below $3,380 per ounce on Monday as easing geopolitical risks dented the metal’s safe-haven appeal.

(3) Crude Oil Weekly

WTI Crude Oil futures closed the week near 62.530, marking a notable move into the lower price range. The commodity began last week around 66.250 but continued to face strong selling pressure leading up to August 1. Growing worries over expanded US tariffs and fading geopolitical tensions outweighed the bullish influence from falling inventories and hopes for a Federal Reserve rate cut.

Malaysia’s benchmark KLCI ended 0.5% higher at 1556.98, its highest level in 12 weeks, led by gains in plantation and construction stocks.
